Christmas Wreath Cookies - Caring Through Sharing Over the Holidays
Christmas is a time when old family cookie favorites are the topic of the day. From generation to generation, from ingredient spattered recipe cards and dog-eared pages from cherished recipe books old and young gather together to bake and share stories of Christmas's gone by. These Christmas Wreath Cookies are always a big favorite here at our house during the Christmas season, making a colorful addition to any sweet tray. Because they freeze well thes cookies can be made 1-2 months ahead of the time when they will be enjoyed. When I first started making these cookies over a dozen or more years ago, several mystery “Cookie Monsters” found the cookies I had placed in the freezer and they ate them frozen! Ever since those early years, I make a few extras for tasting and I mislabel the freezer container. These days I don't have any cookies disappearing before the holidays! Enjoy making these Christmas Wreath Cookies. Enjoy sharing them with family and friends, old and young alike. The basic recipe is found on our Home and Body How To website. Put your own spin on decorating these quick, tasty and fun to eat Christmas Wreath Cookies. Pass the recipe on to your next generation. Enjoy making these holiday treats and most especially, enjoy sharing them with family and friends.
